Samantha and Mark dreamt of a bohemian, yet luxurious beach wedding celebration that would embrace their heritage and religion. Our goal was to create an inviting space where guests could (literally) kick their shoes off and enjoy, surrounded by the stunning nature and endless blue sea. The Jewish ceremony, carried out by renowned rabbi Yoel Kaplan gave everyone the opportunity to pause and reflect on the significance of love, spirituality and commitment... and what better backdrop than the clear blue sky and warm Greek sun for pondering on the big concepts in life? Paying homage to Chalkidiki and its unique nature was a priority for the couple. We responded by designing trellises and floral arrangements using local flower and plant varieties; we thoughtfully positioned these across focal points to create a warm, extravagant flowery wrap around the event, without it being intrusive. We complimented this by organising boho lounge spaces for the guests to relax, using a selection of rattan rugs, seaters and umbrellas for some much-needed shade. It is fair to say- the event is over indexed in variety and authenticity! From welcoming the bride who walked barefoot across an aisle of purple and fuchsia petals, to laughing, dancing and enjoying scrumptious hors d’ oeuvres and premium cocktails. The last included freshly made Peach Bellinis which, since specially requested by the groom, stood up to the expectations and were unanimously granted the ‘event signature cocktail’ status by everyone who had the pleasure to taste them. After dancing to a delightful medley of Rock n ’Roll and folk Jewish tunes, masterfully delivered by our Israeli band, the crowd was led to the communal table to enjoy, according to multiple accounts, ‘the best dinner of their life’… Samantha, Mark- we wholeheartedly wish you a life full of colours and sun- much like the summer day of your wedding in Chalkidiki, Greece!
