Our beloved Oscar and Maria came to us from Amsterdam; with a vision for their wedding day focusing on the concept of urban luxury, and inspired by the extensive travels they have had around the world. To deliver on this vision, we decided together on an innovative combination of antique silverware and exotic flowers. The impressive welcome table was set with robust silver candelabras and exotic bouquets bursting with pops of red, green and orange. Handcrafted antique silver platters served the traditional macarons and wedding delights; while a two-tier stand filled with lúkums and biscotti invited the guests to add their wishes to the couple’s wish book. Both Maria and Oscar were very passionate about the concept of hospitality, or Philoxenía in Greek; hence, we designed the wedding favours with special care: Minimal carton boxes filled with premium olive oil from Thasos Island, aromatic mediterranean pot- pourrí, pebble-shaped bombons and a handmade clay bracelet, featuring the logo of the wedding: a Dutch clomp and a Greek tsarouhi! Our guests were truly delighted, and the bracelet is worn by several friends and family, as we hear, to this day. The dinner featured, apart from a breath- taking view over the port of Thessaloniki, a curated selection of Greek dishes. The premium wine cart was complimented by the imaginative cocktail list; special attention was paid to the custom-made cocktails, created exclusively for our couple and their guests. The party kicked off after an emotional video of the couple, ending with the appropriate tagline ‘The Beginning’- and everyone hit the dancefloor until the early morning hours. A truly unforgettable night filled with colour, love and gusto.
