Inspired by the iconic musical Mamma Mia!, as per our customer’s request, we designed this ‘talk of the town’ summer party! In the lush and cool garden of their private residence, Sonja and Christos welcomed their friends and business associates from all over the world. Our vision was to recreate the iconic Cycladic atmosphere. We hence set off to transform the space into a Greek island- complete with its central piazza- meeting point for all the guests, traditional façades, inviting corner cafés and flamboyant fuchsia bougainvillaeas. The custom-made entrance construction warmly welcomed our guests into a carefully concealed extravaganza of al fresco dining, live cooking stations, a dancing stage and a plethora of props, antique furniture and cosy corners for relaxation. Of course, chilled champagne and kir royale cocktails were most welcome, and soon, our astonished guests got into the mood of celebrating, Greek 70’s style! Our Island Village theme would not be complete without roaming magicians, an ice cream cart, a refreshing fruit buffet, and of course live music! Rare liquors and premium cigars were on offer at the luxury cigar bar, and enjoyed in the specially designed lounge area; and for those with a sweet tooth, personalised Mamma Mia! cookies were strategically placed around the space for secret (or not so secret) indulgence. Radiant smiles and the gleaming eyes- Mamma Mia, that was indeed a party to be remembered!
