Elena & Constantine delighted our whole team with their incredible chemistry and vibe; and inspired us to create an experience bursting with tradition, surrounded by lush nature and of course, next to the blue sea they both love so much. Their wedding ceremony was held in an iconic chapel in the Kassandra area of Chalkidiki. The tiny church was speaking volumes- we did however embellish the space with traditional clay ‘stamnae’, rattan baskets and wooden details. As ever, our guests’ comfort was key. So, to offer some relief from the blazing sun, we set up a refreshment station with fans, homemade lemonade and traditional wedding sweets - all engulfed in plush greenery and summer flowers. The party was held in ‘Navagos’, meaning ‘Castaway’- one of our favourite beach bars; perched on dramatic rocks, overlooking the peninsula and offering amazing views of the sea and surrounding forest. Guests enjoyed an incredible al fresco dinner, along with a selection of traditional wedding favours- ‘Akané’ delights, succulents with clay pots to take home, pebble- shaped ‘Bomboniere’ and even cards with personalised poems… And, as the sea turned purple in the evening light, the sound of saxophone gently guided everyone towards a party vibe- and following the couple, the company surrounded the dancefloor and the bar for a necessary summer cocktail. The party that ensued lasted until the early hours- and why not, since the music was good, the setting idyllic and the mood great? Elena and Constantine- may you always remain ‘castaways’ on an island of love!
