Christening of a Fairy

Aethereal Shades of Pale

Celebration in Peloponnese, Greece

The fairy-tale baptism of little Elisabeta exuded finesse, elegance and playfulness. The baptism was held in a close family circle, in the private chapel of the family residence. Thus, it was imperative that we meticulously plan and execute every detail with absolute discretion and care. Pastel shades from David Austin roses, peonies, and many other amazing flowers were used for the crafted asymmetrical arches at the marble entrance of the church. Pastel pink, soft yellow, sweet orange, and baby blue wooden furniture were designed and crafted for the fairy's candy bar. Greek and Russian baptismal sweets were served; while the cutest cake pops, cupcakes, and sugar paste cookies delighted our little friends. Following this quite intimate and emotional ceremony, a private dinner was served in the estate. Naturally, silver Christofle cutlery, the finest porcelain charger plates, and silk dinner napkins were used. The elegant centre piece decoration was complimented with fine flower arrangements in crystal vases, both small and large. It was indeed a small but mighty event; and one that will remain one of our favourite to host.
