Rachel and Telly from beautiful Belgium met while travelling; and the bohemian lifestyle the duo led at the beginning of their relationship, not only underscored their overall aesthetic- but profoundly informed the style of their special day, too. Under the springtime sun, we wrapped our beloved couple with a medley of impressive pampas compositions, dry and fresh flower bouquets, candles and romantic fairy light arrangements. Guests were supplied with ice cold, homemade lemonade, custom sunglasses and fedora hats; necessary provisions to tackle the heat, while indulging in the goodies of our special relief bar. As the evening progressed, ouzo shots replaced refreshments; and accompanied by mesmerising saxophone sounds, our guests enjoyed a Greek-inspired dinner, marvelled at the custom macrame and evil eye favours, and secretly wiped away tears of joy during the couple's first dance. ‘To live freely’ was the motto of the night- and this was reflected across all the design elements of the event: From the custom macramé backdrop of the buffet, and the eclectic decorations tastefully setup across the space, to the wedding cake and custom candy bar- we aspired to invite everyone to relax, get excited and feel inspired… and what better way to gently steer our friends Rachel and Telly into their joint life together, than lovingly creating a moment of freedom that will stay with them forever?
