Our lovely New Yorkers Amanda and Kostas got married right next to the sea, by the most picturesque chapel in Chalkidiki, on a sunny August afternoon. Lots of lemons, fresh olive branches, wooden accents and the abundant Greek light complimented the setting; inspired by the quintessentially Greek olive tree and guided by Amanda’s strong vision. Drawing in from the essence of the Greek summer, we organised a traditional Mezé Bar with a premium variety of olives, artisanal Greek cheeses and crudités, served with a curated selection of chilled wine. Guests relaxed and enjoyed their drinks while listening to the romantic violin. Zeroing in the concept of elegance and simplicity, we set the dinner tables with crisp, white table clothes, fresh flowers, lemons and olive branches…while a large centre arrangement and dozens of candles dominated the space and created an atmosphere oozing of comfort, refinement and charm. To accentuate the couple’s first dance, we created a special structure with flowing fabrics and hundreds of fairy lights. After the first toast, guests were invited to the mini champagne tower- and this was the signal for the party to start, kicking off with traditional dances from all over Greece. Inspired by eternal symbols of faith and commitment, we designed a wedding with the aroma and flavours of Greece, under the starry summer sky, memories of which will linger forever!
